Our History
What is now middle Tennessee's premiere venue for hosting special events, was once a fully operational church dedicated to serving the local community of Manchester.
Construction was completed in 1894 and then later expanded in 1951 to accommodate the growing number of families, The Church @117 continues to embrace the rich heritage and legacy of its beginnings while now serving as the perfect place for hosting family gatherings and celebrations of all types.
Recent renovations have retained its majestic aesthetic as a beautifully historic church while its interior has been fully updated into a state of the art locale befitting all of your special events. Capable of supporting over 200 guests, The Church @117 is the perfect choice for events big and small including but not limited to weddings and receptions, birthday parties, reunions, music showcases, video shoots, and more!

Steve West
Owner and Operator
Steve West recently purchased and restored a beautiful 1894 built church in historic downtown Manchester TN. The Church @117 is now open as a wedding and special events venue. Steve is a veteran teaching artist with the Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Disney Musicals in Schools and the Humanities Outreach in Tennessee programs. He is a veteran concert producer and promoter with his company Go West presents and working musician with bands The Soulution and Zig Zag. He is also the managing partner of the 1604 Building (Grimeys and the Basement) in Nashville.
